Description
To the east of thee Vosges, the Grand Cru Spiegel terroir, protected from wind and rain, is particulary exposed to the sun, which is benefical to the maturation of the Riesling grape.
Its Triassic sand and sandstone soil and its exposure provide ideal conditions for slow and optimal ripening. All the complexity of the terroir is thus revealed. This Grand Cru shows an incomparable finesse and elegance on the nose.
The Riesling planted on this terroir reveals notes of white flowers, citrus and rosehip. The attack in the mouth is soft, worthy of this terroir. The structure is harmonious, balanced with a fresh and long finish, reminiscent of lace.
To be drunk chilled but not excessively, preferably refreshed in an ice bucket.
Age potential: 10 to 15 years.
