What is the GDPR?

Simply put, the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, is a set of rules designed to give European Union residents more control over their personal data. It gives users a range of rights over their data, and makes it easier to ensure that companies respect those rights.

Our site is fully GDPR compliant. Its spirit was already in our DNA, and we've worked hard to ensure that we not only comply with the new regulation, but that we continue to provide our users with the highest level of data protection possible.

La Cave Materne Haegelin & filles and your data

Our mission is to help you keep control of your data. From the beginning, it was designed into the application and the way we manage your information.

Of course, we need to keep limited information about you to make the application and service work. For example, when you register as a user, you must provide us with an email address. If you are a paying customer, we need billing information. If you contact our support, we keep track of the messages we exchange.

We also collect information about how the application is used, but this data is anonymized before it leaves users' devices and cannot be linked to a specific user. Your encrypted data may pass through or be stored on our servers, but it is not readable in any way.

Our privacy policy and your rights.

Under the GDPR, EU residents must be informed about the collection of their data, have access to that data, be able to request that it be corrected or deleted, and other related rights. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please see our page about your rights under GDPR.

This site is concerned about the protection of your personal data. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal provisions on data protection and this privacy policy.

As a rule, our website can be accessed without the need to provide personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our website, this is done on a voluntary basis when you place an order. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.

We would like to point out that the transmission of data over the Internet (e.g. by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against unauthorized access by third parties is impossible.
